Birthday Cards

I can't believe the price of greetings cards these days!  So every now and then I have a go at making my own.  I wish I could be more organised and do it for everyone or have a stash that I can just dip into when I need one. This one was for a special little girl in our family.  I made the bag first and then the card to match.  It's just coloured paper cut into the number shape with tiny felt circles glued on.  Simple! 

Birthday Bunting

My little one just had his first birthday so for my very first post I thought I would share the birthday bunting I made.  I thought it would be nice to have some bunting that could be pulled out year after year so that it becomes a bit of a tradition that he can get excited about as he gets older.  

I made the triangles first and then cut out the letters from felt and stitched them on by hand - great to do when you have a spare bit of time in the evenings!

It can be folded away and brought out for birthdays time and time again.
